Happy New 1 a.m.!

Okay, it's 2 a.m. and there is a party going on right above me in the dorm. My room is one of the largest units in the entire building, but a drawback is that I'm right below the lounge and all the parties that go on. It's not so bad, as I can always venture upstairs and see if it's worth grabbing a beer and sticking around.

But sometimes it's like tonight, and the party involves karaoke. Blech. Anyway, they're supposed to get quiet by midnight, but this group is still going strong at 2 a.m. I think their intent was to stay up until 2 a.m., when daylight savings time flipped to standard time and it became 1 a.m. all over again. I know that back in Orange County that's what we'd be doing on the fist Sunday morning of November (formerly the last Sunday morning of October), though here in perpetually standard time Hawaii there is no relevance. I don't even know why I brought that up.

So in my state of fatigue I ventured into YouTube and found Tina Fey's appearance last night on David Letterman, talking about the easy and hard parts of doing an impression of Sarah Palin. I wonder if this post will make any sense to me in the morning.
