Four Corners fail

Besides my own inadvertent misspelling of Arizona, I can name at least two things that are a big fat FAIL in this Apple maps app rendition of Four Corners, where New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and Arizona meet.

(And I only decided to look it up today while I was watching a season four episode of Breaking Bad.)

This succinct email was sent from my iPhone.

  1. Hmmm, Google misses the mark, too.

    1. True that. But Google hadn't just made a huge deal about how great their mapping system was.

And I'm guessing that Google could also tell me how to get there by bus as well. ;)

Really, I'm not trying to bash Apple. I do like some things about the Apple maps app, but there have been some times when it really screwed up. I was downtown in Honolulu trying to find out which direction a certain address on King Street was, and it told me that address was up in the mountains somewhere.

Bear in mind that King Street is a major thorough fare in Honolulu, and there's only one of them. I thought Siri was on crack.
