Getting the FTA past the Korea National Assembly

I'm a bit too busy to go and do my own analysis, but everything is going about as I expected it would. Even though ROK's progressive former president Roh Moohyun was the one who got the Korea-US free-trade agreement inked in the first place, lawmakers from his end of the spectrum are vehemently (and perhaps violently) opposed to it (and some of them would have been even if Roh Moohyun or another leftist were president today).

But it will pass, because despite all the posturing, because most Koreans feel it is needed.
