CNN and BBC are reporting that North Korea has fired off its missile, although its payload is unknown. Seoul and Tokyo announced that the launch came at 11:30 a.m. local time.
Japan did not try to shoot it down, and called the launch "regrettable." The US called the launch provocative.
Nonetheless, I predict it will be back to business as usual.
Anyway, here's a graphic from the Chosun Ilbo (HT: the "24" marathon-watching Marmot) that will be an impetus for all my non-Koreophonic readers to either learn Korean and/or get a Korean-speaking significant other.
