Korean won drops to the mid-1400s

Back in early 1998, when pop star Michael Jackson visited Korea with an eye toward building an amusement park near the southern mountain resort town of Muju, a running joke was that one of the roller coasters could be called "the Korean won."

Sadly, that joke could be dusted off and reused today. (Oh, and "Neverland Asia" never happened.)

UPDATE:
Courtesy of Linkd (who should have his own blog), here's a good Bloomberg article that paints a serious but less than dismal picture.
