Switch to digital TV delayed until June 12

In an official acknowledgement that American are the laziest, most procrastinating group of people on the face of the Earth, Congress has voted to delay the much-touted switch from analog television to digital television.

The pending February 2009 switch had been announced for over a year, so everyone should have been aware what was going on. But the government itself (during the Bush administration) dropped the ball on the $40 voucher coupon program by first not having the converter boxes ready and then not getting the coupons out fast enough.

Of course, there are those of us in places like Hawaii where the switch has already occurred. And I still don't have my KNHL, you bastards!
