Serendipitous discovery of painting of Chosŏn-era women dancing with swords

쌍검대무(雙劍對舞): 양손에 칼을 들고 대작하여 춤을 추다

So, um, kŏmdo (kendo) was for girls?

I must admit, this would have been cool to watch in person. I wonder if those women toward the back are smoking tobacco or opium. Probably tobacco. (source)
