Sea turtle at Black Sand Beach

In Hawaiian this is Punalu'u [edit: The beach is called Punalu'u; sea turtles are actually called honu]. From Hilo, it's to the south, past Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, very close to the southern tip of the Big Island, which is the southernmost point of the fifty states.

I made sure to stay at least 15 feet away. After I saw the sign.

To be fair, I didn't notice the sea turtle at first either.
