And once again The Marmot rubs it in our faces that he gets paid to go to neat places
This time it was Hyangdan. I've been there, it's nice. Even better if you're with the right company. 'Nuff said.
Well, of course there are neater places than this, but that he gets paid to go is what I'm jealous of.
I have tried my hand at travel writing, but in the end I got rejected from some big names because my writing didn't have enough too-cool-for-school snark. Apparently, they want people like this person.
(In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have used phrases like too-cool-for-school, but you'd think I'd have slam dunked the snark.)
When I first skimmed your title, I thought he was off to someplace really neat like The International Space Station or McMurdo Station.
