Yonhap on dishonest taxis

Believe it or not, kiddies, the Korean media does contain a lot of stories about Koreans behaving badly, including taxi drivers ripping off Japanese tourists, which is the justification for expanding the "international taxis."

While "international taxi" sounds better than "foreigner taxis," I just don't have the heart to tell Korea National Tourism Organization that an "international taxi" would be one that takes the passenger from one country to another. I just don't.

Ah, taxis are the last refuge of bad English. I still recall the days of the Intercourse Discomfort Reporting Center.
