Orange County crime story of the day: Kyopos behaving badly

Actually, this is a two-parter. The first part is a follow-up to this story from August. It turns out that Timothy Han has admitted to authorities that he did in fact give a fifteen-year-old girl pot and had sex with her in the church parking lot:
A 21-year-old youth group leader at a Cypress church pleaded guilty Thursday to having sex with a 15-year-old girl in the church's parking lot.

Timothy Han, of Fullerton, is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 12.

Han pleaded guilty to felony unlawful sexual intercourse and a misdemeanor count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Prosecutors said last month that Han took the 15-year-old girl to the Miracle Land Baptist Church parking lot, where he smoked marijuana and had sex with her.
And the second story, now a week old, doesn't even take place in Orange County, so it sort of runs against the grain of this whole series anyway (which was to show that by highlighting the crimes of a handful of people, I could make even a major metropolitan area of three million people look dangerous, as Brian once wondered if he was doing in respect to Chŏnju). But it involves Korean-Americans, so it wouldn't be fair if I sat this one out.

Turns out that three of Korean-America's finest were arrested at a UCLA frat party for trying to stab a man to death:
Two UCLA students from Orange County have been arrested on suspicion of trying to stab two fellow students to death at an off-campus fraternity party last month. Five other people have also been arrested in connection with the melee.

UCLA students Isaiah Hee Cho, 19, of Westminster and Chris Yi, 19, of Huntington Beach were arrested today on suspicion of attempted murder at a party hosted by the Lambda Phi Epsilon fraternity. UCLA student Justin Kim, 19, of La Crescenta was also arrested today on suspicion of being an accessory to attempted murder.
I hate it when kyopo act gangsta. I blame Chungmuro.

Of course, some folks will read this and cite these examples of how kyopo men can't be trusted and are worse than White English teachers, yadda yadda yadda, but like with any group, the individuals should be looked at as individuals (and certainly some White people also do the same sh¡t Timothy Han pulled). No one I hung out with was gangster like this, and I don't think I know anyone who had sex with an underage girl unless they were underage themselves (or very recently had been).

Do unto others, bro. Peace out.
