A freeway World Series?

Heh heh heh. The Los Angeles Dodgers have clinched the National League western division championship, just as the Don't-ever-call-them-"Los-Angeles-Angels-of" Anaheim Angels did earlier this week. Angelenos (i.e., people from the Los Angeles area) are so ecstatic, they forgot to be sad for Chicagoans.

A freeway series between Los Angeles and Orange County would be way cool. I can dream, can't I?

Ah, who am I kidding? The Angels will choke when they play Boston. Just me talking about this has probably put a jinx on it.

  1. I'm more of a Dodgers fan than I am an Angels fan (although I would like to be loyal to both as I am a native SoCalian). But if there's a team that will choke, I hate to admit it...but it looks like the boys in blue will choke against the Cardinals. I feel better about the Angels' chances against Boston. The Angels have a solid lineup...the Dodgers have clutch hitters only (ie- Ethier). Don't count on Manny or Kemp to pick the team up during these times.
